IHM investigation of harmful substances in ships
Guangzhou Hengchuang Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd. IHM Laboratory is a globally leading one-stop laboratory covering 16 hazardous substance tests, and has been accredited by domestic and foreign classification societies such as China Classification Society (CCS). The IHM investigation service for hazardous substances on ships provides investigation, testing, inspection, and certification services for the List of Hazardous Substances on Ships (IHM) in accordance with EU Regulation 1257/2013 and the Hong Kong Convention. Ensure compliance with the convention while guiding shipyards/shipowners to meet the requirements of issuing and signing IHM international certificates and international suitable dismantling certificates by classification societies.

1. Testing items
(1) IHM Onboard Investigation
A normal IHM survey will include 2-4 person days of onboard appearance and sampling surveys, collecting approximately 80-200 samples.
(2) Laboratory testing
The samples will be sent to our internal ISO 17025 accredited laboratory for testing. The testing items are as follows:

(3)Ship Survey Report
The final IHM will be generated based on onboard surveys and laboratory test results, and submitted to the classification society for approval by the client
